Electrolysis Hair Removal

What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is a hair removal process that targets individual hair follicles. It involves the insertion of a probe into the hair follicle, and an electrical current is delivered directly to the bottom of the hair root. It is an FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal and works on all skin types and hairs.

How does Electrolysis work?

A very thin probe is inserted into a targeted hair follicle. When prompted, an electrical current moves down the wire to the bottom of the follicle, destroying that root. This process cauterizes the blood vessels that supply blood to the hair follicles, effectively preventing new hair from forming.

  3. Probe Insertion & Electrical Current: A thin probe is inserted into targeted hair follicle. An electrical current is delivered to the hair follicle.

  4. Multiple Sessions: It is typically required to undergo multiple sessions of electrolysis to achieve complete hair removal, as each hair follicle follows its own unique growth cycle.
