No makeup
No workouts, saunas, or heat
Expect mild swelling or small bumps normal!
48 Hours After
Gentle skincare only
Cold compress if needed
No retinol, acids, scrubs, or facials
72 Hours After
No sun exposure or tanning
No swimming
Wear SPF daily
Week 1+
You can slowly reintroduce:
Retinol or tretinoin (start every 3 nights)
AHAs/BHAs (1–2x per week)
Strong vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) . You can return to SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic or continue using AlumierMD EverActive CE+Peptide
Facial devices (gua sha, cleansing brushes)
What NOT to Do
Do not pick, peel, or scrub dry skin
Do not use dirty pillowcases or towels
No fake tan on the face
No chemical peels, lasers, or waxing for at least 2 weeks
When to Worry (Seek help if you notice)
Yellow crusting or pus
Spreading redness
Severe swelling after 48 hours
Fever
Persistent burning sensation
